Windows 10: can't able to open virus and threat protection in windows defender

Discus and support can't able to open virus and threat protection in windows defender in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Whenever I try to open virus and threat protection it says "Your IT-administrator has limited access" which can't be true as this is my personal...     can't able to open virus and threat protection in windows defender


    Whenever I try to open virus and threat protection it says "Your IT-administrator has limited access" which can't be true as this is my personal computer. I have windows 11 and I am pretty sure I don't have any anti-virus as I deleted that yesterday.

    Hello,

    I'm Independent Advisor and Microsoft MVP, here to help you with your question.

    Open Group Policy snap-in by running gpedit.msc command.

    Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Defender Security Center > Virus and threat protection.

    Set 'Hide the Virus and threat protection area' setting to Not Configured.
