Can't access "Account Settings" in the Mail and Callendar app with Windows 11

I've seen multiple threads of this and have already tried everything suggested in them. Yet there is still an account I cannot manage in my mail window. Same story as before, only I'm on Win11 and it's 2023 and this is still a thing. I've uninstalled, run the various command prompts, even tried finding the Mail32 setting in Control Panel which doesn't seem to exist anymore and yet I can't fix one of my accounts. This is a Yahoo account, and I am using the current latest version of the app. There has got to be a way to fix this after all this time.

    :)

    Cannot open mail app settings

OK, my next suggestion was going to be uninstalling Mail and Calendar and reinstalling from the Windows Store. You can have a go at this by following these steps.

    1. Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell.
    2. Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
    3. Enter the below command to remove the Mail and calendar app.

    get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage

After performing the above steps, install the Mail and calendar app from the Windows Store.

Hope this helps, you will, of course, have to add you accounts back again.

  4. Can't access "Account Settings" in the Mail and Callendar app with Windows 11

Can't access to the account settings in mail and caledar app for windows 10

    • Have you tried accessing you email to a different PC or Browser? If yes, is the issue still persist?
I can get access to my mail via every device and browser.

    • When the issue started?
    Have no idea.

    • In the meantime, we suggest that you check this link.
It contains information on how to set up email in Windows 10.
Isn't my gif self-explaining? I can't get popup menu. That 25th frame effect is what happening when i'm trying to get "manage accounts" menu. It's just appearing and disappearing. I don't
have any problem with my mail account. I have problem with mail and calendar app.
I tried: troublesooting for windows apps, reinstaling app via powershell command. - no result. Recovering system and reinstalling system isn't a solution because i don't know since what time
the app was broken and i have alot of data that will be lost. Extra gif for deep understanding.
