Windows 10: Can't access Advanced Start Up Options in Windows 10

Apparently you hold shift while selecting “restart” from the power options and then it’ll bring it up but I have about a 50% success rate doing it this way. Half the time it’ll just black screen and I’ll be forced to hard reset my PC. Also trying to access Advanced Options screen from the recover page in Settings is also very inconsistent as sometimes it’ll bring up the advanced options screen for about half a second and then either restart itself before I can click anything or just lock up entirely.Am I doing it wrong, is there a certain timing to when you hold the shift key down and stuff?PC

Windows 10 download speed issues

Try this method:

• First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
• locate and select “Update and Security“.
• in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
• In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
• Turn off Updates from more than one place.

Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

 

No Troubleshot option in Advanced startup menu..

• Are you using Windows 10 installation disk to access the Advance start up options or trying to access through Windows?

I suggest you to follow the below path and check if you are able to see the Troubleshoot option:

• Open Settings, and click/tap on the
  Update & security icon.
• 
  Click/tap on
  Recovery on the left side, and click/tap on Restart
  now under Advanced startup. Check if you are able to view the
