Windows 10: Can't access Email & Accounts settings or login to Microsoft Store on Windows 11

I'm trying to access the email and accounts settings to add my personal Microsoft account to my laptop, but the settings page stays on a loading screen but never actually loading. Furthermore, when I logged out of the Microsoft Store, clicking the "sign in" button causes the application to refresh but doesn't bring up a sign-in menu or anything. I'm also having that same issue with the Xbox app, which is what I'm ultimately trying to set up.I've tried several solutions already with no luck. I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Error 0x801901f4. Cant add Microsoft Account in Settings Email & Accounts or in Outlook

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I understand from the description that when you try to add an email account in Microsoft outlook you prompted with login window then immediately displayed the error. I would suggest following the below
steps to fix the issue.

Step 1:

Go to Search box next to windows icon and type Troubleshoot

Step 2:

Click to open Troubleshoot window

Step 3:

Then select "Program Compatibility Troubleshooter"

Step 4:

Click on Run the Troubleshooter

Step 5:

From the list of programs select the Outlook16 if your office version is 2016 (select outlook version whichever you have installed)

Step 6:

Then click Next

Step 7:

Click on "Try recommended Settings"

Step 8:

Then click on "Test the program"

Step 9:

Outlook will open in recommended compatibility settings mode

Step 10:

Now try to add the email account in this mode

Step 11:

Close the Outlook

Step 12:

If the account successfully gets added in the above step then on the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter window click Next

Step 13:

Click on Yes,Save this setting for this program

Cannot login with microsoft account on Windows 10.

If you are using Microsoft account to login into the user account, I suggest you to convert the user account to
Local account and using the new Microsoft account change to Microsoft user account by following the below steps and check if the issue is resolved.



Step 1: To convert to local account.

• Press Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open system
  Settings window.
• Click Accounts and under Your emails and accounts, click on
  sign in with a local account instead option.
• Enter your Microsoft account password and click on Next.
• Type the Password, and Password Hint that you want set for the local account and click
  Next.
• Click on Sign out and Finish button.
• Login to check if the changes are effective.

Step 2: To switch to Microsoft account.

• On the newly converted Local user account, press
  Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open Settings window.
• Click Accounts and under Your emails and accounts click on
  sign in with a microsoft account instead option.
• Enter the new Microsoft account ID and Password and click Sign in.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check if the changes are effective.
