Windows 10: can't access my drive, no admin permissions at all !

i was trying to delete a windows.old folder, didn't have any admin rights to it, tried to change that, and now i can't seem to do anything to see my drive or that folder again. my drive says NTFS under it, and every time i try to make myself an admin from its properties, it says, "Unable to set new owner on OS OC:. Access is denied." i can't open command prompt as an admin, can't set myself to one at all, can't even open task manager or anything like that. i just wanna make it how it was before since i have never ever touched things like this at all. i have no files on here that i have to s

Well, if he is already an administrator and connected the drive, Admin User will be in the list. His name may or may not be. If he is an Admin, which he is, and can not access the drive, then adding his name to the list when the admin is the owner, may not
do anything. Then if he can not even access the drive with Admin Owner, he may not even be able to add his name to the list. But from experience running 5 to 10 drives at a time for years, System could even be the drive owner, therefore this could be the reason
for denying access to him as an ADMIN. Or simply, his permissions have been corrupt. even if there is an admins in the list with limited permissions, he can add another admins user with full permissions IF he is even allow to do so and delete the current ADMINS
in list.

AND IF HE IS DENIED ACCESS TO THE DRIVE AS AN ADMIN, I DOUBT HE WILL BE ALLOWED TO JUST ADD HIS NAME WHEN RESTRICTED FOR ACCESS IF THE OWNER IS ALREADY ADMINS AND ESPECIALLY THEN NOT HAVE ACCESS TO DRIVE. Ooops, caps were on, Sorry.

Been there did this 100 times with many situations. He may even have to do this in Safe Mode if he can not change owner or get access.

It just all depends.

2. Have you shared all hard drives or any particular folder within the particular hard drive?

providing permission to the drive.

If the issue still persists, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to re-map the drive.

1. Disconnect the drive by right click on the drive and select disconnect (if the drive is mapped).
   
2. Then re-map the drive by referring to Map a network drive
   and check if it resolves the issue.

ADMIN RIGHTS / ACCESS TO C DRIVE

I was trying to uninstall a program and have managed to change all the permissions to my c drive and no longer have any access rights, no admin rights and I've completely messed this up .. help?

I'm using windows 10 and have completely locked myself out of everything.

I have tried going into computer management but I don't have access - tried changing the permissions but it's hopeless. I don't want to lose my work I've saved on the c:\ drive. I have my D drive still working but that's it.

Can anyone suggest anything in order to get this back?
