Windows 10: cant access my old account and blocked from my desktop PC

so started using a newly fashioned email address back several years ago and didn't think ill need access to my old one again so i have neglected it which has now come back to to bite.. i wanted to access my old account to find an old work related email which i thought i sent to my new email for safe keeping


no clue what the password could be i tried recovery but the email to recover from was a previous work domain i no longer have access to and the recovery mobile is a dead number now which is 100% not accessible either.


my only hope according to Microsoft was to utilise their recovery form which is rejecting me every time without reason because i pretty sure the details i input are accurate


anyways i thought id try my old desktop PC as its linked to that account i might be able to bypass logging in and update said account, but its linked so therefore i cannot even login to my PC so no matter what i do im screwed and tech support seem unwilling to assist me in the matter


so i need a way of logging into windows 10 PC WITHOUT the password or a physical change on my Microsoft account to update at least one method of retrieving the password reset link... any suggestions?

Unlink an old android phone from my pc

I go thru the suggested steps: Start - Settings - Phone - Unlink this PC.

When I first open the "your phone" screen the old phone is listed. Not sure if the phone listed is suppose to be selectable or not, but my is not. When I select "Unlink this PC" the phone listed is removed. When I select "Add Phone" the old phone still
shows. I have removed the old phone from my Microsoft Account. I have rebooted after unlink this pc but I still cannot remove my old phone.

I understand that you want to delete one of the old administrator accounts from your computer. If you want to save the data from the old Administrator account, I would suggest you to copy the data from the old user account from
C: Users\<Old User Account> and move it to your backup drive or folder in a different location, before deleting the account.

I would also like to know what exactly happens when you try to remove the old Administrator account from your PC.

To delete an Administrator account from your PC, you will have to login to another user account with
Administrator access as User Accounts cannot be deleted through a Standard account.

Once you have logged into your new Administrator account, you can follow the steps mentioned below to remove the old Administrator account from your PC. To do this, by

1. Login to the new Admin User Account that you want to keep.
2. Tap on 'Windows + I' on the keyboard.
3. Click on 'Accounts'.
4. Now click on 'Family & other users'.
5. Select the old Administrator account from the list.
6. Click on 'Remove'.

Laptops cannot access desktops via WIFI

I have 3 desktops (all on Windows 10 1803) connected on my LAN. After following this forum for some times and did all the steps as suggested by forum member, access denied, all my desktops are able to view and access one another. I have a printer connected to PC1, and managed to connect all the other 2 PCs to have the shared printer.

I also have 2 more laptops (both Asus with the same Windows 10 1803) connected via WIFI. Performed all the same steps as per the desktops, but I was not able to access PC1. I was able to view all the 3 desktops from the file explorer, but I just can't access all the desktops. However, I was able to access the Asus laptops from desktop PC1.

Anyone able to assist on this matter? Any assistance is highly appreciated.
