Windows 10: cant access network devices, Enter Network Credentials error - windows 10

Discus and support cant access network devices, Enter Network Credentials error - windows 10 in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I hope this is bugging someone smarter than me I can see and access other devices through the network, other devices can see me, but cant access my...     cant access network devices, Enter Network Credentials error - windows 10


    I hope this is bugging someone smarter than me


    I can see and access other devices through the network, other devices can see me, but cant access my files, they get "Enter Windows Credentials" which cant be passed


    what ive dont so far:

    - network & sharing center: network is set to "private", also ive set private and all networks to "turn on network discovery", "turn on files and printers sharing" and "turn off password protected sharing"


    - now with the new update, homegroup has been removed entirely from windows


    - removed my windows access password (no log in screen now, it logs in automatically)


    - no third party anti-virus or firewall is installed



    the system specs:

    - OS: windows 10 home (64 bit)

    - device: dell XPS 15



    ive kinda given up and dont think this is resolvable, this is like a final cry for help. i would like to use this opportunity to complain about windows 10's network features, it sucks terribly and it was way easier in previous versions on windows

    Network Credentials

    Hi Sammy,

    To assist you better regarding your concern with network credentials, have you checked the Windows credentials for any information about the username and password for the network credentials? If not yet, follow the steps below to access Windows Credentials
    manager.

    • Press the Windows icon on the desktop.
    • Type in Windows Credentials.
    We would appreciate as well if you could provide us a screenshot.

    Let us know how it goes.

    • How many devices are affected?
    • Are you getting any error messages when connecting to a network? If yes, send us a screenshot.
    • What are the troubleshooting steps that you've performed to resolve your concern?
