Windows 10: Cant access notepad

I have Windows 11 and my notepad is not working. It doesnt open unlike in Windows 10. I just upgraded my Windows and got this issue. I usually use notepad a lot for my work so I need to address this and I dont want to go back to Windows 10.

I also tried to find the notepad icon (as suggested by another source) in C;\Windows\Systems32 but could not get it to accept notepad.exe

By the way, when you encountered this issue, were you logged in as an administrator? If not, then let's open Notepad as Administrator. Follow these steps:

• Click on the Windows Key.
• Type Notepad in the search box.
• When Notepad appears, right-click it and select Run as administrator.
