Windows 10: Can't access Window 11 local account

I recently deleted my window 11 local account and while I restarted and tried to log in to my PC, the former password I used is not currently working anymore and there is no other account available to sign in to

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

 

Windows 11 Local Accounts

Hello Simon,

If you upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10, then you will still have the same accounts you do now.

If you wanted to clean install Windows 11, then yes you can set it with a local account during installation like in step 21 below.

This issue might be due to some error in system settings.

If you have not yet tried the below steps, I suggest you to perform and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to log out from the current user account, restart the computer and log-in with the administrator account and check if you are able to access the local drivers.

Step 2: I suggest you to place the computer in safe mode, try to log-in with administrator account and check if the issue persists.
