Windows 10: Can't activate Window 11 with Window 10 Product Key?

I need help with a Windows activation issue.I originally used my product key on a Windows 10 device and later got the free upgrade to Windows 11 without any problems.Recently, I built a completely new PC. I deactivated Windows on my old device and tried to activate it on the new one using the same product key. Unfortunately, it didn’t work.I ran the Troubleshooter and chose the “I changed hardware on this device recently” option multiple times, but my new PC doesn’t show up in the list. I also tried rebooting, but no luck.When I enter the product key, I get this error message:"We can't activat

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

windows 10 can also activate solely based on HWID no key required how do you think the microsoft store activation works it installs a generic key and activates based on hwid
