Windows 10: cant activate windows 10.

Hi, recently I built my first pc and installed Windows 10 on it. Windows cannot be activated even though I have an activation key, and it worked on my previous pc. I understand that changing the hardware can cause this problem, but I can't seem to fix it. I tried to contact Microsoft but to no avail. I need help reaching an agent, and they never reply when I leave my phone number. What can I do in this case? How can I activate the window? I already have an activation key and don't want to buy another. Really?? How can I fix it? What should I do to have a Microsoft agent talk with me and resolv

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
