Windows 10: Can't activate Windows 10

I have changed motherboard and now I can't activate Windows 10 Home on my PC. My W10 is retail upgraded from W7 Home which i have original boxed version. On old PC It said I have my retail licence bound to my microsoft account yet now on new PC It says that "Our activation servers are unacquirable. Please check internet connection" etc etc.. i'm swarmed with error codes 0x800072F8F saying that this Product key cannot be used in this Windows copy. At this point im totally disgusted that there is absolutely no way of solving that. I'm not going to waste 200$ on another w10 licence. I have tried

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

Open a new Explorer window.

Click View in the ribbon.

Click Options.

Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”

Click OK

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.

Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.

You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.

Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.

Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.

or you could hack it with a crack but please not this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
