Windows 10: Cant add device to account...

Just bought Flight Sim, but then it says need to pick a device to download to... I want to add a new device. But when I go to that page it seems it has to be an xbox or surface or other MS device... I thought FS ran on windows? I have windows 10 on the device i want to download to and i am signed into my microsoft account from that device.


Can't seem to find a way to add new device...? link text to add new device loops me back to a screen to add new device but has to be a MS device?...


My other devices are showing in my account and they are 4 mac minis running windows and a macbook pro running windows under parallels. They show but I don't want to install on any of those devices - I want to install on this PC that isn't on the list of my devices....

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Unable to delete PC from MS Account devices

I would suggest you to try logging in to your Microsoft account using other browser and try removing the device.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Go the Sign in to your Microsoft account site, and sign in to your Microsoft account.
  
• 
  Click/tap on the Manage advanced security link under Security & Privacy.
  
• 
  Scroll down towards the bottom of the page to the Trusted devices section, and click/tap on the Remove all the trusted devices associated with my account link.
  
• 
  Click/tap on Remove all trusted devices to confirm.
