Windows 10: Can't add device to tenant, need admin approval

Hello, I am having an issue where I am needing an admin approval after initiating autopilot on a device to a tenant. After wiping the device, I bring up cmd prompt and input the following commands.PowerShell.exe -ExecutionPolicy -BypassInstall-Script -name Get-WindowsAutopilotInfo -ForceSet-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSignedGet-WindowAutopilotInfo -OnlineAfter following through the commands, I then attempt to login only to receive this:After I hit "Return to the application without granting consent" I receive these errors:This has never happened before and I have admi

Microsoft 365 tool in Admin Center for tenant admins helps with setup

Hi folks,

I wanted to share here a link to some Setup Guides which help IT Admins setup Microsoft 365 / Office 365 services. https://aka.ms/setupguidance

Background: I used to own my own small business helping migrate businesses to the cloud (Google Apps/G Suite/Google Workspace or BPOS/Office 365/Microsoft 365.) About 6 years ago I submitted critical feedback to Microsoft about how challenging the services were to setup at that time, and Microsoft appreciated the feedback enough to hire me to make things a little easier.

You need to have a tenant administrator login to a valid M365 tenant in order to check out the guides. Anyone can get a free trial (which comes with a tenant admin login) here: Compare All Microsoft Office Products | Microsoft Office

(I have a single seat tenant with what is now called Microsoft 365 Business Standard, which I use for my test tenant because I tired of setting up new trials as the trials expired. It’s a good value for small businesses, if you are looking for a suggestion on which product to choose.)

I’d love to get your feedback on the Setup Guides so that my team can keep improving on these guides, and making life a little easier for IT Pros who are trying to deploy/configure Microsoft 365 online services and applications.

Tenant admin tools: Connect SharePoint team sites to Office 365 Groups

It’s time to start bringing the power of Office 365 Groups to your classic team sites! Last year at Ignite, we shared our plans to provide the ability to connect existing SharePoint team sites to new Office 365 Groups. Starting today, we are rolling out the first part of this feature, providing the ability for tenant admins to connect existing SharePoint Online classic team sites to new groups.

This feature will be made available in two stages:

Stage 1: Tenant admin tools

Initially, tenant and global administrators will be able to use an API or PowerShell cmdlet to connect existing SharePoint Online classic team sites to new groups. These tools are being rolled out now and should be available in your tenant over the next few days.

Stage 2: User experience for site collection administrators

Later in May, we will allow site collection administrators to connect sites to new groups through the Settings menu in classic team sites.

When the user experience ships, its visibility will be managed by a tenant-level setting. By default, the new experience will be available to site collection administrators. A tenant administrator can change the setting to hide the Settings menu option for this feature from site collection administrators. We are shipping the administrative setting as part of Stage 1, so a tenant administrator can determine the visibility of the Settings menu option before it rolls out.

How should I prepare for this feature

Use the SharePoint modernization scanner tool to assess the readiness of the site collections in your tenant for this feature. This tool is a great resource to plan out your site modernization strategy and will create an in-depth report, including areas that need attention prior to running the feature. The tool and instructions for its use are here.

If you would like to enable site collection administrators to connect classic sites to groups with the user experience when we make it available, you don’t need to do anything. If, however, you would like to disable this option, you will need to change the default setting. Details on how you can change this setting can be found here. Note that tenant and global admins will always have the ability to connect sites to groups using the PowerShell cmdlet or API.
