Windows 10: Can't add iCloud account to Windows 11 Mail

    Can't add iCloud account to Windows 11 Mail


    I've added my gmail account no problem, when I try to add my icloud mail it goes through setup but never appears in the inbox or folder list. I can see the account listed in my accounts and I've verified the sign-in details are correct. I'm not receiving any error messages.I really need to get this working because it's the only ARM build mail app I can find and I'm on a surface pro x.I've tried removing/reinstalling etc.Has anyone seen this issue, or, can anyone suggest how I can get extra debug information out of the mail.app to help further.ThanksAndrew

    Linking iCloud account to mail app

    I recently purchased a PC and while setting up i attempted to setup my icloud account but the mail app says my settings are out of date. went through the steps suggested and setup two factor authenication but it was no help. anyone have suggestions?

    Do you have two factor/two-step authentication on your Apple/iCloud account? If so then the mail account requires an app specific password which is entered in place of the iCloud account password.
