  1. Can't add legacy hardware in device manager

For context, I am having issues with audio drivers on a laptop, nothing shows up in sound devices at all, I already tried to install/update the audio drivers (both the generic Windows one and Realtek's) to no avail. Some guides said to add legacy hardware on the device manager and choose the Realtek drivers. When I do this, it tries to install the device and then stops with the error "Invalid access to memory location" which is a really weird error... Not sure what else to do at this point, I can't get any audio drivers to work on W10 so for the sake of making sure the speakers even work int the first place, I booted into Ubuntu using a USB flash drive and sure enough it worked without any issues. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Teredo adapter not listed in "add legacy hardware" menu

I've been having a ton of trouble with the microsoft store today, which I have never had before, and have spent all day trying to fix it. My latest possible theory as to the cause is the Teredo adapter. It doesn't seem to be installed when i look through
the device manager, and it is not listed in the legacy hardware, as the title suggests. I have already tried showing hidden devices, and when i have searched for others having the same issue, they always ended up finding out that it was there when viewing
    hidden devices.

For me, however, it is still absent.

So if it is not there while viewing hidden devices, and it is also not listed in the add legacy hardware menu, then how the heck can I get Teredo installed? every single guide I can find on how to install teredo says to go through the device manager, but
it just isn't there for me.

    Device Manager Un-Hiding Hidden Devices

When you connect a plug and play device, Windows Plug and Play manager detects it, finds and installs the driver. Device Manager lists the device with a solid icon.

The driver is only removed when you uninstall the device, not simply by disconnecting the device. When the device is disconnected, its driver is still installed. By default, Device Manager only displays connected devices. When you show hidden devices, note the Bluetooth icon you see is semi-transparent (not opaque). That indicates a "non-present" device. Sometimes also called a "ghost" device. The driver is still installed but the device is not currently detected (i.e. not connected).

    Device can be disconnected when
    • Device unplugged (e.g. removing a USB device)
    • Turning a device OFF
    • Disabling the device in BIOS (then windows won't detect it) or
    • Device failure

    So
    • Check BIOS as suggested
    • Check board connections
    • Can b/t be turned off by a switch? or keyboard combination?
Also possible the b/t h/w failed
