Windows 10: Can't add mail account in Courrier

Hi,


Did it happen and has it been solved to someone else that one day, the mail account registered in Courrier Windows Mail app do not refresh mail anymore and after uninstalling the account, not being able to add it ?


Before uninstalling the mail address form the app, any refresh was telling me that the last update was made X hours ago, then X days ago...

After a while and some reading I decided to remove the mail address from the app in order to add again.

Removing gone well, adding back the mail address is not working.


When I click connect in Add an account window, I have the loading animation, but it last like forever at least for almost an hour, before I give up.


I have other mail address loaded in the app and there are working well


Information about the app : Courrier. Version 16005.13426.20688.0

Windows: 10 Pro. x64

Yahoo mail - alternative accounts

Sounds promising, I have a Gmail account. How do I verify the Yahoo account using it ?

I have sent several Gmails to john @yahoo.com, but all I get are mail failure emails back saying the account is not available. I also did this with OE a few times with the same result.

Why `o why can`t Yahoo be more explicit in their instructions. I am no dummy, but I give in on this one.

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
