Windows 10: Cant add my child as friend

What an idiotic system microsoft made, but soit.We wanted to play minecarft together, i have microsoft family safety, however i cannot adjust the priviliges of my kid to accept friends. He has his own PC and is admin on it, not local user, and i wont be changing that anytime soon because all his stuff in his admin account only account on his own pc. Been spending the better part of 2 hrs trying to get my 7 year old son to play minecraft with me, but to no avail. So now i have a disappointed son, and high blood pressure from the retarded stuff microsoft has made. Why is it this difficult. I a

Adding friend on child account

We would like to know more about your concern regarding the child's account. Are you pertaining to a contacts when you indicated "a friend" on your post? Have you tried some troubleshooting steps regarding your concern? If so, have you received any error
messages?

Child Account Get Greyed Out

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did the following instead.

I have another laptop, 2 weeks old, with Windows 10 Home on it.

On that one, I tried the same steps with the child account, and got the exact same results.

• Are you trying these steps in admin account or a local account?

The steps given in the link ahs to be performed in the Website and a invite has to sent from the web and check if it helps.

I suggest you to refer the link and check the Add a child account to your family and check
if it helps.
