Windows 10: Cant add new user to my desktop

Hi,I am trying to add a new user on my desktop.This user has a MS 365 business standard subscription account with a custom domain email addressWhen I try to add this user using the custom address it returns a prompt that says " Looks like this isnt a Microsoft account". Is it not possible to use this custom domain email address as a new user on a PC?

Desktop wallpaper for new users

Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

• Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
• On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
• Locate and click Administrative Templates.
• Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
• Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
• Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

Windows 10 Add New Local User Fails with "Something went wrong" message

  Did you use the same Microsoft account to setup user account on this computer?
  

I would suggest you to create a new local user account using the below steps

Steps:

• 
  From the desktop press Windows flag key + R
  
• 
  And type netplwiz and click ok.
  

This will open user account window click add and follow the onscreen instruction to create a new local account.

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
