    Can't add second Onedrive account to windows10


    I have recently reinstalled windows 10 on my PC. OneDrive is working fine with my main user account, but when I try to add a second account that I use for work, it tells me that there are two options for that account, work and personal - but the personal option which is the one that I want is greyed out and can't be selected.I can see that the account is still working and can view the content on my iPad.How do I get Windows to allow me to select the correct option?ThanksIan

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

    Can't add second Onedrive account to windows10

    Is it advisable/useful to have a second (full) Administrator account?

    Firstly, I should say that someone suggested this Forum to me and it's one of the most useful things that I have come across on the Internet!
    I read somewhere that one way to safeguard your system is to create a second Administrator account in addition to the one that is built-in in Windows, so that should there be a problem with the "original" Administrator account you would use the second one to restore the first one.
    If this is indeed advisable, what are the steps to do it? I presume that I should password-protect the second Administrator account.
    Would I have the second Administrator account always enabled and the original Administrator account always disabled?
