Windows 10: can't add yahoo to windows 10 calendar - not able to type password

I can't add my yahoo calendar to windows 10 calendar because the page where the password should go has no place to actually type the password. I've added the yahoo calendar several times and I know I'm doing it correctly. I simply cannot type my password on a blank page

I deleted my Yahoo e-mail account, restarted Windows 10, add Yahoo e-mail account.

My Yahoo e-mail is working fine,

My Yahoo Calendar does not appear as a "Calendar" in the Windows 10 Calendar app, nor are any Yahoo Calendar events appearing in the Windows 10 Calendar app.

Any other ideas?

Windows 10 Calendar won't display Yahoo Calendar events, but Yahoo e-mail works fine.

To resolve your issue, we suggest that you delete your account in Mail app and then add it back. To delete your account, you can follow the steps below:

• Type Settings in Cortana, the search box on the task bar.
• Click Accounts.
• Click on your account under Email, calendar, and contacts section.
• Select Manage.
• Click Delete Account.

To add your account, you have to go to Accounts area again in Settings. Click
Add an account under Email, calendar, and contacts section, then select Yahoo! Mail from the options and start adding it.

Update us on the result.

error 0x80190194 with Mail & Calendar App on Windows 10 Adding a Yahoo Email

I'm on Windows 10 (1909) with the latest updates both for Windows and the Microsoft Store, including the Mail & Calendar app, and i had the same problem as of today.

However I've found a workaround:

1. First, on your Yahoo account, under account settings and security, create a password app.
2. Then on the Mail & Calendar app, when adding the mail account, instead of choosing "Yahoo", choose "POP3/IMAP" and enter your email address and the password previously created.

You might not even need to create a password app if you don't have 2 step authentication enabled, but as i do, that's what i did.

I think there is something broken either on the Mail & Calendar app or on Yahoo's side, and by choosing "Yahoo" to connect it obviously uses a specific login system. But by using POP3 or IMAP, nothing can go wrong as long the servers are up and running.

Anyway that's how i got it to work, so i just posted this in case that could help. The problem will probably be fixed, but I've found using Yahoo quite glitchy on the Mail app, so i'll probably use that way as for now.
