Windows 10: Can’t Adjust Brightness

Hello Support Team,I’m using a desktop PC running Windows 11 Pro, and I’m trying to adjust the brightness of my external monitor. Most support articles seem to focus on laptops with built-in displays, but I’m on a desktop setup with a regular monitor connected via HDMI.Here’s with what I’m dealing:There’s no brightness slider at all under Settings > System > Display.I can adjust brightness manually using the monitor’s physical OSD buttons, but I’d prefer something easier and faster.I’ve seen mentions of things like adaptive brightness or content-based brightness changes, but I’m not sure

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Were you able to see any error message/ error code with this issue?
• Have you tried to install all the pending updates for drivers and Windows Updates on your device?

This issue might have happened due to corrupted/ outdated drivers.

I suggest you to refer to the below Microsoft article, try the troubleshooting steps suggested to change the brightness and check if it helps.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Type Settings in the Search bar and then Enter.
• Click on the System and then Notifications and Actions which is available on the Left pane.
• Click on Add or Remove quick Actions.
• In the make sure that the Brightness is ON.
• Then click on the Action Center and adjust the Brightness according to your preference.

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.
