Can't adjust screen brightness after replacing laptop processor The screen is always gray Like if your laptop had a brightness slider set to 0. And if you try to change it, nothing will change I can also add that in the Device Manager for the video adapter there are 2 of them, the second is the 1050ti video card Intel R UHD Graphics 630 hanging error 43

Adjust Screen Brightness and Resolution in Windows 10

The screen brightness adjustment keys of my HP Pavilion laptop are not recognized by Windows 10. It is so bright that it is harming our eyes. Also, I followed the suggested alternate steps from many websites and none of them worked as the brightness adjustment
option is not at all available even not inside Control Panel.

Please note that before installing Windows 10, I got notification that my laptop is compatible for the upgrade. Can you please help?

Is this a laptop screen or a monitor and what is it ( Make / Model / Brand ) ???

• A monitor will have its own function keys to adjust brightness and contrasts.
• A laptop will have Fn Function Keys to do this.

One could also use the Windows 7 inbuilt Color Calibration tool.

• Go to the Start Menu.
• Type in : calibrate display color.
• A drop down menu will appear.
• Select and open calibrate display color.
• Follow the steps it provides.

Graphics Cards can have their own functions for this within their control panel as well.
