Windows 10: Can't boot after turning on Secure Boot

    Can't boot after turning on Secure Boot


    I can't get windows to boot after turning on Secure Boot in BIOS, my disk is formatted in GPT, my BIOS is in UEFI and I've just reinstalled windows literally 30 minutes ago thinking it was going to solve my problem and yet I still can't get windows to boot after enabling secure boot, does anyone have a clue on what I could've done wrong ? My motherboard is a MSI B450-A PRO MAX Thanks ! Max

    Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

    Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

    I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

    Hi thanks for your reply I tried all up to step 4 and no boot order even with secure boot off in the configuration setup it looks like I can't change but thanks for your help in know I can access my flash drive via novo menu and boot it that way I just
    thought I could change it for first boot but not allowing in bios
