Windows 10: Can't boot in UEFI

I purchased a MSI motherboard B550M with an AMD Ryzen processor. Installed everything and then tried to boot my PC. It would not boot in UEFI mode only in CSM. After updating the bios as told by the MB manufacturer, same problem. So then I went into the Windows troubleshooter. It said that should go to settings > update & security >recovery and select restart now under advanced options. At the next screen, select troubleshoot > advanced options > UEFI. That's the problem. With my installation of Windows, I don't have that option UEFI. I can't get anymore update with Windows

Can't disable UEFI boot on HP 250 G3

I got it, I was not accustomed to UEFI (because on HP 4540s I disabled it) and I automatically thought that if I boot from the first menu it will boot in UEFI mode, but I have to go to second menu "Boot From EFI File" to get a list of EFI boot options:



I installed Ubuntu Mate and Windows 8.1 from the first menu (the picture) and they both installed in BIOS mode. Quite simple really.

So, the first steps to getting that disk to boot in UEFI mode would be:

Make sure that disk is set as the first disk to boot from in the boot priority list, or use your UEFI boot override menu to boot from that disk in UEFI mode. Note, that disk will only boot in UEFI mode. It should boot straight into Windows Work, with no boot menu presented.

I am really interested in this. I could not install Linux and I don't know why. Was it so simple to install it? The linux I want to install is elementary OS, but I can install other one. How can I do it? Thanks!
