I'm running Windows 10 on several laptops, none of which offically have Windows 10 support. On my HP ProBook 4330s, I'm using drivers from Windows Update, as well as HP and non HP drivers installed by driver update software.

I have added some of the specs. There is a fairly detailed list here.

Yes, that was another thing I tried, with no success.

Okay, so the new laptop runs with W10, just not your old SSD?
    Here's a possibility:
Image (and verify) your old SSD (all partitions) to an external drive and set it aside.
Put the old SSD in the new laptop, wipe the partitions and clean install W10Pro.
Once it's up and running, and booting/rebooting fine, shut down and boot to Macrium Recovery; plug in your external drive with the image of the old SSD that has all your programs on it.
In Restore, select your old SSD image, only the C partition, and restore that partition to the C partition of the clean install you just did. (Drag it onto the C partition to restore.) If they're not exactly the same size and the new partition is smaller, there's an option to restore to a smaller drive.

If it doesn't work, at least you can reimage the old SSD and get back to where you started.

Edit: I think I just repeated what OldMike already suggested....*Huh

Can the drive be returned to a working computer environment so that we can view logs on the current drive?
And can the drive be tested?

Yes the laptop works fine with Windows 10. The issue is not specific to this new laptop, the SSD would also not work in another laptop I tried it in. Also, this new laptop does not require in special storage drivers to be installed.

The laptop should have started to boot Winodws, and then when Windows should have recognised the different hardware and automatically installed any needed drivers for the devices that are different to what was in the old laptop. But, it fails to read from the SSD, so it can't get that far.

I may try the backup/restore in a while. It will take a few hours hours to do, so am hoping I can find some other options first.

I've done a surface test on the drive with no problems, and it has no SMART errors. I can put the drive back in the original laptop. What logs do you need?

Please post this zip: BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums
And please post a one drive or drop box share link with this file: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
    If possible please run:
    HD Tune website
    to check the health,
scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    run a benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
    the health,
    the error scan,
    the benchmark incl. following
    transfer rate,
    access time,
    burst rate,
    cpu usage.
Take Screenshot in Windows 10 Windows 10 General Tips Tutorials

When the drive is working in the other computer open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    1) sfc /scannow
    2) dism /online /cleanup -image /restorehealth
    3) chkdsk /scan
    4) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread
    5) diskpart
    6) list disk
    7) select disk 0
    8) list volume
    9) select volume 3 (or the volume that is fat 32 and system) (let us know if the fat 32 is not the system)
    10) list partition
    11) exit
    12) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Open disk management > expand each column so that the contents of each row are in full view > using snipping tool to post an image into the thread.

I put the SSD back into the original laptop, and now it is also getting the same inaccessible boot device BSOD.

I'm going to wipe the SSD, and do a clean install of Windows 10 on the new laptop and then restore from my backup.

I will. There will be no DMP file because no dump file is saved when I get the BSOD.

What have you already done to check the creation of dump files?

Can't boot, not even in safe mode due to INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE

Aside from there being no dump file on the SSD that I can find where it should be located. The led for the storage device remain off after it starts trying to boot Windows. Form when the spinning circles are showing when it is trying to start loading Windows, up to when the BSOD happens, there is absolutely no disk activity. This makes sense as I'm getting the BSOD becuase Windows is unable to read from the boot drive. If it can't read from the drive to load Windows, then it's only logical that it can't write to the drive to save a dump file.

So when the drive was working it was able to create dumps?
It's only since you have moved the drive from one computer to the other.
Had there been any bsods in the other computer when you had a working OS?
Drivers from 3rd party update sites can be unknown entities.
We generally recommend uninstalling all of them and re-installation with computer manufacturer or component manufacturer approved drivers.

On the orignal computer, there were only BSODs when booting into Safe Mode, and also no dump file was saved then as well. When booting normally, there were never any BSODs.
