Windows 10: Can‘t boot Windows 10 or log into safe mode

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me because I’m on the verge of Insanity.

I have a Windows PC, with the Intel 2600 K processor, a Geforce GTX 580, 16 GB ram and 1 TB hard drive.

I’ve had the same computer since 2011, filled with many personal files videos and pictures. Everything was working fine until four days ago, when suddenly my windows 10 wouldn’t accept my graphics card anymore. When windows started, only one moniter worked and the picture was very pixelated and small. I tried downloading the latest driver, an earlier driver. Clean delete and re install. Nothing worked.

The next day, I started my PC and windows constantly kept restarting while booting at the window sign.

I tried safe mode, but it wouldn’t take my password that I have since 10 years!!!


I tried all different kinds of tricks with the Console like chkdsk, bcdedit /fixboot, etc.

NOTHING worked.


Then I made a USB bootable windows 10 stick.

but while performing the startu repair, it stoped and said it can’t perform startup repair!!!


i can’t believe it!?!? All I did was install and delete graphicscard driver!! What could have possibly destroyed my system!?


Please help. Any experience or suggestions are highly welcomed. I don’t wanr to loose 7 years of Data :-(

Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10  


I am stuck in Safe Mode in spite of following all the suggested steps to go back to Normal Startup - Like opening file location of msconfig.exe & running as Administrator. The computer I am trying to get out of safe mode has just been updated from Windows 7.

 

Can't boot into Normal/Safe Mode with Networking, only safe mode...

I could do with some pointers on resolving an issue. I can only boot into windows in safe mode in Windows 10. Normal mode and safe mode with networking doesn't work. The problem occurred after a windows update. I have removed the latest updates that were installed and cleared any pending ones but it still won't boot properly. I have also run the troubleshooter and tried to recovery to an earlier date which also doesn't work.
The laptop is a HP ENVY 17 notebook. At boot it just gets to the HP logo with the circular loading icon and no further and can only boot it into safe mode. Can anyone recommend the next steps? I have also tried the following;

• stopping startup items
• uninstalling hardware drivers
• removing recent software
• running troubleshooters at boot
• sfc scan
• diagnostic/selective startups with minimal services running

Would the fact that I cant boot into Safe Mode with Networking imply its a network driver related issue?
Bit of a dead end really, any help would be much appreciated
