Windows 10: Cant boot windows from 970 evo plus fresh install

I just built my first CPU and i purchased a samsung evo 970 plus as the primary boot drive. I installed windows on the drive using a usb stick and when the machine restarts to finish installation of the OS it freezes shortly after moving past the bios screen. I checked bios to see that my motherboard sees the drive and it does. My asus motherboard is showing an AA code meaning its moving to the OS from bios. You see the circles at the bottom of the screen stop moving and it never boots into wondows. I tried moving the hard drive into my old computer and same problem. In fact now none of the drives on my older rig boot up and i have to reinstall those too (wtf this thing feels cursed)

Ive had it in the top m.2 slot since as far as i can tell the 2 slots are the same and have no difference on the motherboard.

Can it be a faulty hard drive or am i just dumb since im new to this? Has anybody else encountered the problem? Does the 970 evo plus just not like windows 10?

Things ive tried:
Re-downloading the installer on the usb drive
Wiping and reinstalling windows on the drive
Pulling the hard drive out and putting into my old rig ( same thing happens)

Its a brand new cpu i just built. Im buying an 860 evo just to get it up and running because this is just dumb.

ASUS B350-Plus wont boot windows off of a Samsung 970 Evo

I have gotten windows 10 onto my 970 Evo, but my computer will not boot into windows. When I override boot onto the 970 Evo the screen goes black, then there is a small white line in the corner for a few seconds, then it takes me straight back to BIOS. PLEASE
HELP!

This usually happens when the BIOS can't find the Windows Boot Manager. You will need to re-install Windows in order to fix this issue. You will need to make a media creation tool, then boot into the bootable USB. Once you have booted into the USB, follow
the installation and once you get to the disk selecting option, make sure to format the Samsung 970 Evo, then select it as your primary boot drive. Now just follow through the steps.

Problem installing Win 10 on 970 Evo Samsung

Hi,

I would like your help for a problem i am facing. I bought a MSI B350 PC MATE motherboard (7A36-003R) and I wanted to build a new pc but when i try to install Windows 10 x64 on Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 at the step where I select the M.2 disk to install
it popups a message saying:

"Windows cannot be installed on this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

I have tried every possible combination on the BIOS/UEFI but every time i get the same error. I have left only the SSD and remove every other SATA connection with no luck. The installation is made from USB which is made with Rufus.
Is it any configuration that i am missing?
Every suggestion would be very helpful.
