Windows 10: Cant change back to default theme

I am on a business computer and systems administrator has blocked changing themes. I picked a high contrast color and personalized it to make it better. After i realized the high contrast wouldnt be good for duties of the job, I wasn't able to change it back to the "none" setting for high contrast. I get the error that "This theme can't be applied to this desktop. Try clicking a different theme". I can keep changing which high contrast setting I want but I cant change back to none. I went to file explorer and tried running a default theme thats already downloaded and I get the response that th

Thank you for providing the information.

• Did you try the steps suggested by Suvarna Govinda above, what was the result?

As I understand the issue, Themes in Windows doesn't have the options to change on its own. Only the Wallpapers in the themes can change as selected ( Picture, Solid color and Slide Show ).

I would suggest you to make us understand that if the Wallpapers are changing in Theme which you have selected.

Below are the steps you can check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I keys and select Personalization.
• Select Theme and select the Default theme.
• Select the Desktop Background below and select the Picture
  and save it and check.

nokia 5800 theme changes to default theme after restart

I have installed v52.0.007



My device changes its theme back to default theme after every restart.



Any suggestions ?

 

Windows Theme always reverts to default

Hello guys I am encountering the same problem. What you have suggested is working but every time I restart or turn on my computer, it reverted the theme to "unsaved theme."
