Windows 10: Can't change burn speed

i want to burn CD-RW i put some .docx and .ppt but i can't change the recording speed and if just press next it will give me this error

I wonder what is the actual issue here the speed or the CD?

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

 

CD won't burn!!!

I suggest you to try the steps provided and check if it helps.



Step 1: Try to slow down the burning speed and check if it helps.

a. Open Windows Media Player.

b. Click on Tools.

c. Click on Options.

d. Click on Burn tab.

e. Under Burn tab, change the speed.



Step 2: Disable error correction and check if it helps.

a. In Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Options.

b. On the Devices tab, click Properties for the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive that is being used.

c. Remove the checkmark from Use error correction.
