Windows 10: Cant change display.

I downgraded my windows from 11 to 10 on my laptop. the screen is damaged on laptop so i use my tv for display with HDMI. after upgrading when i try to switch display Win + P, the shortcut appears but however i try it doesnt work. any help on how i can change display mode without being able to see anything on my screen at the moment?

Display resolution keeps changing

It might be caused by a faulty driver that's why your display resolution keeps changing. We
suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the display driver, see steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
