  1. Can't change Microsoft Apps installation Drive

I played Forza Horizon 4 on my PC.

I did a regular reinstall (I do it every 3 months), but I didn't uninstall the game, so the contents of the game was still on my D drive afterwards.

I deleted the WindowsApps folder's content on the mentioned drive (I gave permissions to myself so I can delete it through Windows Explorer).I want to install the game again, but in the Microsoft Store when I select the installation drive (DCan't change Microsoft Apps installation Drive :) and press install it just hangs there. Also if I want to change the app installation directory to the D drive I get error code 0x80070005.I probably messed up something. I'm pretty sure I can fix it by formatting the D drive or reinstalling Windows, but I don't really want to do that.

    Microsoft Apps not installing

    Hi aniketbhattacharya,

There's a possibility that there's an issue with your Microsoft Store. I suggest that
you try to reset your store cache by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R.

    • Type "wsreset.exe" and press Enter.

    • Check if it takes you to a store page which displays that the cache has been reset.

    • Now try to open the store app and check.

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.
