Windows 10: Cant change my Speech Settings

Good day,Since a few days I am trying to change my Language to English United States, but it keeps crashing my Settings Tab.I had English GB as the default english pack being installed and used for everything. Speech, Keyboard etcBut since 2 weeks a few of my programs require English US as the main language for speech recognition.Since then I always tried to Install English US as a whole pack, but it will only install the language pack but not anything else such as the speech or the handwriting pack. If I am trying to install the English US voices manually, my Settings are crashing instant

We would be glad to help you with the issue you are facing today. I understand the difficulty with the problem.

You are not able to change the speech settings to English Canada because you have not downloaded the speech packs for the English Canada. I suggest you to check the language and speech settings in Cortana as below and check if
it helps.

• Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open settings menu.
• Click on Time and language and select
  region and language.
• Under Language option, check which language is Set as default.
  
• If you find different language, you can change it by clicking on Add a language option.
  
• Select your preferred language (English Canada) and click on
  Set as default under English UK language.
• Now, click on English Canada and click on
  Options.
• Download the language, handwriting and speech packs.
• Now, click on Speech from the Time and language settings menu.
• Check if you are able to select the speech settings to English Canada.
  
• After performing above steps, check if you are able to use Cortana.

Also, suggest you to check for updates by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key, click on Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update.
• In the right pane, click on Check for updates.
• Install any pending updates.

Speech Recognition could not start. Please change the recognizer language in the speech recognition control panel under advanced options

To address your concern, we suggest you to change the Speech Recognition settings. To do so, kindly follow these steps:

• On your keyboard, press Windows + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Choose Speech Recognition.
• Select Advance speech options.
• Uncheck Review documents and mail to improve accuracy.
• Click Apply.
• Click OK.

If the issue persist, create a Train Profile by performing the steps below and check if the experience will be the same:

• On your keyboard, press Windows + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Choose Speech Recognition.
• Select Advance speech options.
• Under Recognition Profiles, check the default profile.
• Click Train Profile.

If Train Profile fails, click New..., and create a new profile. Then, check if the new profile will work.
