Windows 10: Can't change or reset an old Windows 7 password

I'm trying to log on an old computer of mine for which I don't remember the password, on Windows 7.I don't have another account on this computer, so I can't do it that way.The command prompt doesn't open when I try to launch the computer from the "safe mode with command prompt" in the advanced boot options.I downloaded and burned Windows Password Reset on a USB device, selected the USB drive as the first in the boot ptiority order and enabled the external device boot in the boot configuration. Reuse/Reset an old Password

Thanks for your quick response. But my problem is that M.S. says old password con not be used. I want to switch back to my old password. I think I need to contact M.S. to clear the registry for my passwords. Then, I will be able to switch back.
