Windows 10: Can't change primary location to install apps/programs for windows

When I try to change the primary installation drive for windows apps, or programs, I get an error message that is like this: 0x80070005 as well as it it says try again later. I do but nothing changes it's always the same error message. I need help to solve this, I am can't download certain games because they are too large for my primary drive, because I use this to install updates for windows on, so it doesn't have much storage space. Please help

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Uninstall or change a program (Some installed apps not listed) !


Hi guys and thanks for your replies.
As you suggested Irene I have them listed in "All apps" but it's still not normal not having them listed in windows 10 uninstall app!
And Roy Computer>C>Users>yourname>appdata>local has all the apps that are currently in " Uninstall or change a program" but
the apps that are not there are not in this folder either!
Anyway I find this to be a strange behavior on windows 10 (never had this with any other version). Is this a bug? anyone else have this problem?

As per description, when you click to change the primary on nothing happens.

Have you tried to perform the troubleshooting steps provided under section
Change which alias is primary ?

If you have not performed the troubleshooting steps I would suggest you perform steps under
Change which alias is primary , from my previous post. Which are as follow.
