Windows 10: Can't close Office 2007 programs

Discus and support Can't close Office 2007 programs in Microsoft Office and 365 to solve the problem; I have Office 2007 Pro running on Win 10 Insider 18963.     Can't close Office 2007 programs


    I have Office 2007 Pro running on Win 10 Insider 18963. Any of the programs, Excel, Word and Access will not close with the upper right X. I have to go into Task Manager and close it from there. This condition was in at least the last couple of Insider builds. Anybody else seen this or have a solution? Do not necessarily want to upgrade to newer or subscription versions. Thanks

    In order to help you with the issue about removing Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 from indexed Locations after uninstalling, kindly answer the following questions first:

    • What are the steps you took to uninstall the Office Outlook 2007 from your Windows 10 PC?
    • Did you uninstalled the program by going to the Programs and Features
      option in the Control Panel?
