Windows 10: Can't connect Bluetooth headset to Windows 10

I've been trying to connect my Bluetooth earpieces to my computer for hours, but neither of them (L and R) connects... at first it asked me for a PIN, I tried 0000, 1234, 9999 and a bunch of other combinations but none worked, so I added it through the Control Panel and it worked (paired) without a PIN, but now it won't connect! It connects for a second or two and then disconnects again and shows "Paired" (see the image below). I don't know what to do anymore... it works with my other Bluetooth speaker but doesn't work with this specific pair of headphones (and no, I'm not trying to connect both L and R at the same time, they're TWS so there's no need)

I just don't understand why Windows 10 makes it so hard and painful to do simple stuff like adding a Bluetooth headset, my phone (Android) connects just fine and doesn't even ask for a PIN, sounds like just another case of Microsoft trying to make simple things much harder

• Click OK.

• What is the make and model of your headset and Bluetooth dongle?
