Windows 10: Can't connect JBL GO 2 to Windows 10 20H2 with latest updates

Yesterday I made a fresh installation of Windows 10 20H2 on my Asus SonicMaster S400C.


Everything seems to be working fine besides my bluetooth speakers JBL GO 2 that can not pair to a windows no matter what I've tried so far.

I know the pairing process since I use the speakers on my other windows machines.

What happens is that the "add bluetooth or other devices" command throws me into a infinite loading screen and speakers never show up after almost two days of multiple attempts. Obviously, I'm not forgetting to hit the pairing button on the device itself.

I tried re-installing and un-installing bluetooth drivers as well as I did make sure that I have the latest windows updates downloaded.
I also tried reseting JBL to a factory settings. None of the options has worked.


Speakers itself has no problem pairing to my Iphone XS or any other bluetooth host I have available

Unable to connect and access JBL Flip 3 device on Windows 10

I have the same problem.

I had windows 7 and a new JBL Flip3. It was working. This weekend I upgrade to Windows 10 and the JBL stopped working. I have been working all weekend with Microsoft premium support and we have not fixed it yet. Like others the JBL is "paired" but
not connected. There is no "button" we can push to connect. So when we right click on the speaker Icon and select "playback devices" the JBL is not listed. As it is not listed, it can't be selected as the default.

Not only myself but Microsoft Premium support have tried all the steps listed here. We have even done a reset. Updated all the drivers. Still not fixed.

Can this be escalated please?

• How exactly are you connecting the JBL device?
• Is this issue confined only with the JBL device?
• Have you tried to connect any other external devices to the ports and check if the issue persist?
• Is the JBL device detected on your computer?
• Which drivers have you tired to update?

I suggest you to deploy Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.
