Windows 10: Can't connect monitor with usb 3.0

HiI want to connect 2 monitors to my laptop, but my type c doesn't support dp so i have an adapter to convert type c to hdmi dongle to usb 3.0 to hdmi but it shows that the port can't handle it. I was wondering if the problem is that the dongle is originally type c and the computer recognizes it as type c or if the adapter to make the type c to usb 3.0 doesn't support video?

• What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
  

• How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?
