    Hi,

Upon analyzing the details you have provided on your query, it is possible that your
    network adapter
    or the
    drivers
you have is outdated. We suggest that you run the
    Network troubleshooter
    and then
    update your drivers.
To run the troubleshooter, follow the these steps:

    • On the search bar, type
      Troubleshooting
      and hit
      Enter.

    • Choose
      Network and Internet.

    • Run
      the following
      Troubleshooter:

      • Internet Connections.

      • Network Adapter.

      • Incoming Connections.

    If the issue
    persists, Update
    your drivers
and check the connection. If the update is not available, check your
    manufacturer's website
    for the latest driver updates.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

5 ghz network takes forever to connect

my 2.4 ghz connection would connect instantly when i boot my computer... but it takes about 5 minutes for windows to connect to my 5ghz connection... whats causing it?

i checked and the 5ghz connection doesnt show up on the list of wireless connections for the first five minutes after booting my computer... also it seems windows has made two types of connections, one is called Wi-Fi and the other one is called Wi-Fi3... what gives?

How Do I Access 5 GHz Band On AC1750?

I don't see a screen like the screenshot you posted allowing selection of 5 GHz in my Security Page. This is what I see, and there is no option to connect to 2 GHz or 5 GHz.

I did login into the router. It lists the 5 Ghz band correctly, but is doesn't show up on Network Settings. Therefore, I cannot connect to it. I would think it should be there too, but it isn't as far as I can tell. The only entry in Network Settings is the 2.4 GHz one. What can I do to get the 5 GHz band recognized in order to connect?
