Windows 10: Can't connect printer GK420t to computer using windows 11pro

when i am trying to install a driver Zebra thermal printer GK420t to computer with Windows 11 pro I keep getting error messages Cannot add language monitor 1805and thenCannot add printer 1603Any ideas on how to fix this.

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

First, I would suggest installing the actual driver package from Brother. While the printer may work with the fairly generic drivers that come with Windows 10, I've always found that I get better results from the actual Brother drivers.

I have a rather old Brother printer so the exact steps may be a bit different from yours, but in my case when I install the drivers it will search the network for available printers and allow me to specify the printer that it finds. If it does not find a printer, it may ask you to initially setup the printer via a direct connection (USB), and then configure the printer for network use (WiFi).

In any case, the installation wizard should guide you through the steps.

• Power off, and then power on your printer to restart it. Wait for a while for it to be fully ready.
