Windows 10: Can't Connect to my Wireless Printer

Hello all!

I'm having a puzzling situation here. I have a Kodak ESP Office 6150 Wireless All-in-One Printer that my family has had for years, and up until recently, I'm not able to print with it anymore. I've tried the obvious troubleshooting steps: Unplugged the printer & router and plugging them back in, deleting the printer from My devices and using the Kodak Printer setup Utility to try and reinstall the printer driver. But the utility said "Printer Not Detected". I've even tried disabling my firewall temporarily to see if I could connect, which I couldn't. And then I tried Pinging the Printer's IP Address with Command Prompt and received the error "Destination Host Unreachable" and "Request Timed Out". There is no problems with the home network, as I am writing this post on our home network. And I already have the latest Driver software from Kodak (Which they haven't updated since 2017) So I'm at a loss on what I should do. I even tried setting up the printer manually, using the printer's assigned IP Address which I pinged on the Command Prompt and that didn't work either. And my mom, who uses another computer, said she was able to print wirelessly to the same printer without any issues. So what are some other steps I could try to get my printing ability back? For wireless printers, check the wireless connection. Make sure the printer’s wireless option is turned on and available. Many printers have a button that displays a blue wireless icon when wireless is available.

Also, try performing a wireless connectivity test on your printer. You
can read the instructions that came with the printer or check the printer manufacturer’s website for instructions on how to do this.

We also suggest running the printing troubleshooter. It can fix issues with installing and connecting to a printer. To use this:

• Go to Control Panel.
• In the search box, type troubleshooter.
• Click Troubleshooting from the list of results.
• Click Use a printer under Hardware and Sound.
• The Printer troubleshooter will begin. Select Next and follow the steps in the wizard to find and fix issues with the printer.

• What is the make and model of the printer and the computer?

As you have mentioned that “I cannot turn on my wireless printer. it says my radio is off”
which means the wireless button might not have turned ‘ON’ on your printer.

So I suggest you to check for the wireless button on the printer and turn it ‘ON’ then follow the below steps to ‘ADD’ the wireless printer on your computer and connect it, check if it helps.

• In the Search box type as ‘Device and Printers’.
• Click on ‘Add a printer’ you will find the wireless printer is displayed on your computer.
• Click on the printer and click on ‘Next’.
• Follow the onscreen instruction and connect the computer and printer.
