    Can't Connect To Networks with New PCI-E WiFi Card


    So i've just installed my new pci-e wifi card, along with the newest drivers from the TP-Link website but it won't let me connect to any networks.

    They are being detected in Windows with full signal, but when I connect and input the password it just says "Cannot connect to this network"

    Any ideas?

    I am running Windows 10.

    Can't detect my wifi network adapter(PCI-E)

    Why my window 10 can't detect my wifi network adapter(PCI-E), in the device manager it show code 10 error.

    I have tried to uninstall and re-install the wifi nework adapter(PCI-E) driver still the same(show code 10 error).

    I just bought a wifi card for my windows 10 desktop (a tp-link archer t8e) and cannot connect to my network.

    I have the wifi icon on the tray, I can get a list of available networks but after entering the wpa key for my network it just shows the message "Can't connect to this network."

    Network diagnosis just suggested connecting to a wifi network (why didn't I think of that...), does anyone here have any clue as to what the problem could be?

    UPDATE: Just noticed that the wifi adapter is being disabled briefly just after I enter the network password, no idea what's going on.

    PCI WiFi card issues

    I show a Hidden Network on my list of Wireless Routers nearby but it has poor connectivity and is Secured. Since my Router is also Secured I don't worry about it. It could just be a Router that was named that way when set up.
