Windows 10: Can't connect to specifically home wifi

I'm kind of at my wit's end here. I'm using a dell venue 11 pro 7140 and my wifi card is intel dual band - AC 7265. I came home yesterday and found that it can no longer connect to my home internet, and specifically my home internet. It hangs on "verifying and connecting" before ending with "can't connect to this network". I can connect to my phone's hotspot, and can connect to the home internet through my phone's wifi sharing or even by turning on the guest wifi. But no matter what I try, I can't connect to it directly.

Things that I've tried:

1. Uninstalling my drivers
2. Updating my drivers
3. Using the network reset tool
4. Turning off ipv6
5. Flushing IP and stuff in cmd prompt
6. Using the both network and internet troubleshooter (they found that my issue was that I wasn't connected to the internet, world class help right there)
7. Deleting the profiles in network settings
8. Deleting the profiles in registry
9. System restore
10. Restarting the network
11. Renaming the network
12. Windows update

Nothing seems to be working, does anyone else have something else I can try?

Assigning a default WiFi connection

Is there any specific way to force Windows to connect to a certain WiFi connection?

Since my PC keeps connecting to a commercial WiFi hotspot rather than to my home network when it boots.

Things I have tried:

• "Connect to suggested WiFi hotspots" has been turned off
• Home network has been set to "connect automatically" when connecting
  
• Hotspot networks have been "forgotten" in the WiFi settings

Is there anything else I can try to fix this problem?

 

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?


OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

 

Can´t connect to my Wifi network

Hi everyone,

I can´t connect to my Wifi from my desktop with Window 10. I had an ethernet cable before and it worked perfectly but now I can´t connect my computer to the router through the cable anymore.

For some reason it detects my wifi network but when i try to connect it says i cant connect.

I followed a few tutorials online of how to fix it and still didn´t work.

any help please???
