Windows 10: Can't Connect to the Internet after W11 24H2 Update

I have two Windows laptops currently running Windows 11. HP Spectre and ASUS Vivobook After running the upgrade - Windows 11 24H2, I can no longer connect to the internet using any browser tried 3 different browsers and I am also unable to connect to my VPN connection. I have rewound Windows to the state before this latest upgrade, and everything works fine. Whilst this is now just an inconvenience, it will soon become a problem. Can anyone help me please. Thanks.

Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?

We have a customer who currently has the W11 22h2 in operation and would like to suspend 23h2 in order to switch to 24h2 in 2025. What is Microsoft's recommendation in this regard? Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?

Try the following steps:

  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.

  Click “View All”
  
• 
  Select "Internet Explorer connection"
  
•

If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi or use the Mobile Data on your HTC 7 Mozart device, we suggest that you follow the steps given on
Lumia troubleshooting and repair. After each step, check to see if your issue has been fixed.

• For issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks, select Connectivity > My phone has problems connecting to Wi-Fi networks, then follow the suggested steps provided.

• And for issues connecting to the internet using a mobile data connection, select
  Connectivity > I cannot connect to the internet using a mobile data connection. Make sure to select the next options given if the problem persists.
