  1. Can't connect to the internet whilst using 5GHz WiFi

A couple of months ago out of nowhere my PC stopped being able to connect to the internet whilst being connected to 5GHz WiFi. It connects to the router fine but I can't seem to get any internet connection whilst on it.Things to note:The same WiFi network works completely fine on all other devices I've triedThe same PC works completely fine on 2.4GHz networks from the same router but slower as expected or on ethernet.I experienced the same issues whilst connected to a different router.Things I've tried to fix the issue:Forgetting the networkChanging settings in device manager/windows setting

    :)

    5GHz Wifi

Hello. I want to connect to 5GHz wifi, but its not showing up in the connection list. I've done a bit of research and my laptop should be able to connect to the 5GHz band.

  3. 5ghz wifi won't connect to internet

Hello! I am having an issue with my local 5ghz connection showing as "connected with no internet". I have an ASUS router set as a wired access point linked to another fiber modem/router to help boost wifi to a specific area of the house. The computer will connect to the main router (weakly), and the ASUS router 2.4ghz connection, but when it connects to the 5ghz it says "no internet". It works on all other devices. I have tried resetting both computer and router systems, setting the google default ipv4 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 connections, and putting the computer mac address into the router specifically. I've also tried shutting off the computer firewalls to connect and emptying the DNS cache on the computer. Below is a picture of the connection. It appears to show the correct connection speeds but with no connection.

    Can't connect to 5GHz WiFi

    Hi,

I am using a dell Inspiron 7501, with an intel wifi adapter that worked perfectly with a 5GHz network when I got it. It also works with a 5GHz network when I do a clean install of windows, however, one day randomly it would stop working and I would have to do a clean install to get it working with 5GHz networking.

Whenever I try to connect to a 5GHz internet it would say "Can't connect to this network", 2.4GHz works perfectly fine and the 5GHz connection works on my phone.
