Windows 10: Can't copy/move files in Windows 10.

Hello. I have Windows 10 Home on a PC Desktop and all the latest updates. Copying files from one location to another using Explorer doesn't work. I have restarted Explorer and doing it worked for a few actions then failed again. I restarted it again and I could copy/cut files but then it failed again. It now will not work. I have run SFC and DISM but I still can't copy/cut files from one location to another either on drive C or to another drive. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance.Johnm.

Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
