Windows 10: Can't create new Microsoft account stuck at CAPTCHA page

I was creating a Microsoft account for my cousin on her newly bought laptop. Everything was find until I submitted the OTP code. It redirected me to the CAPTCHA page i guess but apart from the text "Help us beat the bots", it didn't show any other information. I thought it was because of the browser so I changed from Chrome to Microsoft Edge on her laptop but the issue continue still. Then I tried it on my own laptop even with a newly created email but it didn't work either.Saying "You need to clear cache from the browser" is a bit odd for a new laptop, right?How can I solved this problem?

Windows installation stuck at captcha

Hello,

today I wanted to install windows 10 on my laptop and everything was fine until I got to the captcha.

I did the captcha and everything was fine but then I just got stuck, I can go to the previous steps but nothing changes.

Is this a known issue or is there any fix?

Creating or signing in to microsoft account

Hi Gloria,

The error code that your are getting when adding an account is usually caused by the following:

• Your phone has an incorrect date and time set.
• You do not have a data connection.
• Your phone is in a "bad state."

Creating a Microsoft account PIN

If you are unable to create a PIN for your Microsoft account, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:

1.Reset Microsoft Account: Try resetting your Microsoft account password. You can do this using a third-party device such as a cell phone, tablet, etc. by going to the Microsoft Account Recovery page and following the instructions to reset your password. After resetting the password, restart the computer and try creating the PIN again.

2.I would suggest that you can refer to the steps in Start your PC in safe mode in Windows - Microsoft Support to start your computer in safe mode.

Please create a new account in Safe Mode by following the steps below and see if the issue still persists under the new account.

• Search for CMD, then run it in administrator mode and enter the following command:
  

• After prompting the command to run successfully, enter the following command:
  

Note: USERNAME PASSWORD can be replaced with your desired account name and password, if you don't need a password you can leave out PASSWORD.
