Windows 10: Can't Customize OEM Information [SOLVED]

I was pretty sure that I merged all the layers,

This one is fun to change too, but you have to mess with system files!

 

Especially when the system files are often restored back to default after new builds are released.

 

This does not appear to be a solved issue. As everyone is still running 1607 or earlier. In 1703 you can fill in the oem logo, but it but not be displayed. I am a build and repair tech and have been trying to fix this issue for about 10 days now.

This only applies to Windows 10 Ver. 1703. Anything before that I have no issues with. I have a regedit script I wrote that automates this process. Everything works, but not the LOGO!
Again, no issues (even when done manually) ONLY IN 1703!

It works for me, on Home/Pro, I did a clean setup, not upgrade.
Maybe CU made changes to symlinks, make sure the path is correct.

Your running 1607 though. so its going to work. You can tell it is 1607 as in 1703 the system properties has changed very much. See the attached screenshot

 

OEM logo does not show in the new Control Panel (System), only in the old one.
Maybe when they migrate all settings, they will fix smallish details like that too.
