    Can't cut or copy encrypted data


    I locked my photos and videos with encrypt contents from the properties. My window is crashing so I install a new window. But now I cannot view ,cut and copy my encrypted data . I not made any EFS certificate because I don't know about certificates at that time .I cannot view them I understand but is there is any way that I can cut or copy them in usb

    Need to encrypt the DVDS for copying!!

    Hello everybody, I have a collection of DVDS and would like to continue with that. I sometimes do make copies of the original ones if I am not able to get them but the problem is that some are encrypted and couldn’t be copied. I am looking for a tool that can copy the encrypted ones and be efficient in speed and quality too.


    Hope to get your suggestions!!!!

    Yes,

    That is indeed the way to do it. Please observe the following:

    • Turning off the encryption setting does not remove encryption
    • Hard resetting your device destroys the only copy of the encryption key, and thus your access to these precious pictures.
    I would suggest copying them reguraly, or you can automate this using Microsoft's MyPhone service (free).

    Cutting and copying in Paint greyed out

    Hello Mary,

    We realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Paint greyed out option in Windows 10. We will certainly help you.

    • How exactly are you opening the pictures in Paint?
    • Have you tried to copy and paste the pictures in paint and check?

    We suggest you to once try copy the picture and then paste it in paint and check if you are able to use the cut option.
